Abstract

The aim of study is to examine the causality of banking credit to the regional economic growth of central Java in 35 cities / districts for periods of 2011-2016. The purpose of this study was to determine the causal relationship between bank credit and economic growth as well as to investigate the short-run and the long-run relationship between economic growth, inflation rate, interest rate and credit. The Granger causality test shows that there is a causal relationship between bank credit and economic growth
